Chiddingstone Stores and Café occupies 3 The Village in Chiddingstone, Kent, an independent, family-run shop and tea room open seven days a week. The building dates back to 1453 and was once owned by Sir Thomas Bullen, father of Anne Boleyn; the shop keeps a large sweet counter selling classics by the 100g. The café, known as the Tulip Tree, sits in a converted coach house with a wood-burning stove, sunny courtyard and back garden. Birchall teas, and Brazilian single-origin coffee roasted locally by Cafézinho.
