Batty's Nurseries

Batty's Nurseries has traded from the same plot on Penrhyn Old Road since 1929 and has stayed in the same family since 1959. Unlike many modern garden centres, it has no café or gift section, concentrating instead on a large range of plants, many grown on site, including bedding plants, shrubs, roses and fruit bushes. Staff are known locally for sourcing specific varieties on request and for offering a delivery service to customers unable to collect. The nursery also stocks compost, pots and garden ornaments. Its straightforward, plants-first approach has kept a loyal customer base returning across three generations of the same family's ownership, and it remains one of the longer-established independent nurseries on the Llandudno side of the county.
