Blacketyside Farm Shop trades from the working farm that Robert and Eleanor Todd bought in 1992 on the A915 east of Leven, having brought pedigree cattle over from Northern Ireland. The couple sold strawberries and raspberries from a mobile stall at the farm gate for fourteen years before opening a permanent shop in 2001, then building the current farm shop and tearoom in 2007 after a prolonged planning process. A 2011 extension added an in-house butchery run by Steve Mitchell of the Buffalo farm and a florist, and a further 2020 extension brought a takeaway counter, covered outdoor seating, an ice cream counter and a plant centre. Sons Andrew and Stewart now also work in the business, which sells its own soft fruit, vegetables, meat and baked goods. The shop opens six days a week, 8am to 5pm, closed Sundays.
