Dee-zyn Jewellery School runs from a studio at 8 Fenlake Business Centre in Bretton, on the western edge of Peterborough, where owner Deanne Echarri teaches wire sculpture jewellery techniques. Echarri trained as a silversmith in 2010 before completing a diploma in precious metal clay and six master-class courses in wire sculpture. She brings twenty-four years in the social care sector to her teaching, and the school is built around inclusive methods, offering communication support for people with autism, sensory processing differences and sensory impairments. Sessions range from public workshops such as crystal pendant making to private tuition, school visits, day centre sessions and jewellery-making parties. The business started in 2014, and the dedicated teaching school followed in 2018.
