Diane McCormick has worked from her Brookend Road studio while building a career that spans public art commissions for the National Trust, Macmillan Cancer Care and National Museums NI. Born in County Tyrone in 1966, she studied Fine Craft Design at the University of Ulster before a postgraduate year developing techniques that layer print onto ceramic surfaces. Her large-scale panels appear in hospitals, schools and museums across Ireland, while smaller collectable pieces, often patterned with imagery drawn from cycling and walking routes near Dungannon, are sold directly from the studio. Visits, commissions and workshop bookings run by appointment rather than open hours, keeping the practice close to a one-person operation. The studio remains a working space first, with a showroom rather than a shop front.
