Cloughbane Farm Shop trades from the Robinson family's 185-acre farm outside Pomeroy, a few miles from Dungannon. Sam and Lorna Robinson, with Robert and Richard, raise Aberdeen Angus and Limousin-cross cattle and Texel-cross lambs on site, and the shop sells their own 28-day matured beef and lamb alongside chicken, pork, free-range eggs and produce from a small number of local, similarly particular farmers. A kitchen behind the shop turns out a range of cooked dishes, including a lasagne regulars ask for by name, distributed to stockists across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the rest of the UK. The shop itself opens Thursday and Friday only, a deliberately small window that keeps the operation family-run rather than industrial.
