Elie Deli occupies 55 High Street in Elie, run by David and Kay McCulloch with their son David as a family concern combining a delicatessen with a licensed general grocer's licence. The counter stocks cold cuts, cheese and own-made chutneys and jams alongside bread, croissants and pastries baked fresh each day, plus made-to-order sandwiches, rolls and salad boxes. The wine and spirits range includes an extensive collection of Scottish gins, and the shop ships hampers by mail order across the country. Hours run 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 4pm on Sunday for most of the year, extending by an hour each day in July and August to meet the summer trade along the East Neuk coast. The shop also carries gifts, textiles, pottery and sugar-free confectionery.
