Kersbrook stands on Pound Road above Lyme Regis, a thatched, Grade II listed building dated to 1780, set in gardens that look out over Lyme Bay and the heritage coastline beyond. The Davies family, who have run hotels and guest accommodation in Lyme Regis for more than forty years, keep the property as a bar, restaurant and bed and breakfast together rather than letting any one function dominate. Rooms sit within the old building and its grounds, a short walk of two to three hundred metres from the town centre, the Cobb and the beaches. A private car park removes the usual problem of finding space in a town built on steep, narrow streets. The gardens are mature rather than newly planted, giving the grounds a settled, established feel rather than a manicured one.
