Macgochans

Macgochans occupies a converted fisherman's cottage at Ledaig in Tobermory, with a two-level dining room, a balcony over the harbour and a beer garden behind. Neil Morrison has run the pub since 2007 and took on the lease in his own name in 2012, trading through Macgochans Limited. The kitchen uses seafood landed locally and meat from Glengorm and Sgriob-Ruadh farms, and pours whisky and gin from Tobermory Distillery a short walk along the shore. Macgochans hosts live music through the year and is the venue each April for the Mull Music Festival. It was named Argyll and Bute Pub of the Year in both 2024 and 2025. The bar opens from 3pm daily, and food is served from noon until 9pm.
