An Camus is a glass studio and shop run by Stuart and Helen Orr, set into one of the oldest buildings in Tobermory on a lane just off the painted seafront of Main Street. The couple design and make handmade, hand-painted fused glass, from coasters and panels to decorations and homeware, with colours and motifs drawn from Mull's scenery and wildlife. Because the workshop and shop share the same space, visitors can usually watch pieces being cut, layered and kiln-fired, and ask the makers about the process. Everything is produced on site by the two of them, which keeps it a genuinely independent, single-studio operation rather than a reseller of bought-in stock. It sits among the small makers and shops that line Tobermory's Main Street, and is an easy stop while exploring the harbour at the north end of Mull.
