No.14 at The Georgian House occupies an early Georgian townhouse on Comber's Square, a building dating to 1722. Chef James Mulholland, previously head chef at Ballyrobin Country Lodge and Restaurant Novelli in Belfast, opened the restaurant with his wife Joanne in June 2019 after restoring the property's period features, including original fireplaces and cornicing. The kitchen serves contemporary Irish menus built around Comber potatoes, Strangford Lough seafood and other County Down produce, with tasting and à la carte formats offered across the ground-floor dining rooms. The restaurant appears in the Michelin Guide and the Good Food Ireland collection. It operates independently at a single site, without sister restaurants elsewhere, and trades Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. The building's Georgian proportions and restored interiors form much of its identity alongside the food, distinguishing it from Comber's other Square-front pubs and cafés, and giving the town a dining room with a documented three-hundred-year history.
