Olaf's RecordStore

Olaf Parker, a long-time record trader, opened Olaf's Record Store with Pat Gilbert and Mike Williamson as a pop-up on Sevenoaks' London Road in October 2020, taking a short lease on an empty shop during the pandemic before settling into a permanent unit at number 57. The three run the shop together, drawing on backgrounds as a former punk, a music journalist and an electronics engineer, and the stock reflects that range: new vinyl releases sit alongside second-hand records, CDs, cassettes and back catalogue across genres from jazz and punk to current chart releases. The shop also buys in whole collections from sellers, stocks used hi-fi separates, and offers hi-fi repairs on site, a service rarely found alongside a record counter. It is closed on Mondays.
