Record Fayre

Record Fayre is a secondhand record shop on Chisholm Street in Merchant City, trading since 1983. It is one of the longer-running independent record shops in Glasgow city centre, having operated through the rise and partial recovery of vinyl retail over four decades. The shop is run day to day by its owner, Paul, who is known locally for detailed knowledge of the stock and for taking time with customers browsing the racks. It is wheelchair accessible and open six days a week, closed only on Mondays. Prices lean toward the affordable end for a specialist record shop rather than premium collector pricing.
