Free house tucked into a Pontcanna backstreet, built in 1901 and still divided into two distinct rooms either side of a central servery. Wye Valley's Butty Bach and HPA are the regular cask ales, with a beer garden used for a wood-fired pizza oven on weekend evenings. Live music, karaoke and a Thursday quiz keep the regulars coming back.
