The DeliShop

The Deli Shop has traded halfway down Mid Street in Keith for many years under owner Bruce Ross, who built the business on wholefoods, teas, coffees and spices alongside a deli counter of cold meats and daily-made sandwiches. Ross prepares a house Scotch broth mix to his own recipe and stocks home-made meatloaves, quiches and salads made on the premises, with lunchtime the shop's busiest spell as workers from along Mid Street call in. The shop also sells its own 'Oor Jock' branded gifts, including cards, keyrings and clocks, alongside the food counters. Ross is known locally for tracking down specific items that regular customers ask for rather than sticking to a fixed range. The shop opens Monday to Saturday from around 7am.
