The Ponderosa stands on the Glenshane Pass between Dungiven and Draperstown, on a site trading since 1858 and rebuilt as a restaurant and bar in 2014. Billed as Ireland's highest bar, it serves steaks and seafood alongside a beer garden looking over the Sperrin Mountains, with live music on most weekends.
