Tori and Ben run this farm shop and deli on Kings Newton Lane, two miles from their own farm near Melbourne. Counters carry dry-aged Longhorn beef, grass-fed lamb and free-range Packington pork and chicken alongside a cheese and deli selection, with an alfresco dining area set on ten acres of grassland. Ready-made items such as burgers, sausages and sandwiches use produce raised on the farm itself. The shop has picked up prizes at the Great Taste Awards and the Rural Food Awards, and works with a team of local butchers to prepare cuts behind the counter. Open Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday mornings, it draws customers from well beyond Melbourne for its farm-to-fork approach and personal service from the family who run it.
