True North Cycle Hub is an independent, rider-owned bike shop and hire centre in Deepcar, on the edge of Wharncliffe Woods to the north of Sheffield. Founded in 2016 and relocated to its current Steps Business Centre premises in 2023, the business combines a workshop and retail counter with electric mountain bike hire and guided riding. Staff are certified to service Bosch, Shimano, Fazua, TQ, Yamaha and Mahle e-bike systems, and the shop stocks bikes and accessories for mountain, gravel, road and children's riding. Guests can hire a full-suspension e-bike for a day or weekend and be guided along trails through Wharncliffe and Grenoside Woods or further into the Peak District, with a drop-off service available for groups. A skills coaching programme, branded Sheffield Bike School, was due to launch through the shop in 2026.
