A village museum on Church Hill in Ashdon, north Essex, near Saffron Walden. It is a charity (no. 1070499) set up and run by local people, with no paid staff, curated by Glenn Miller. Open Sundays and bank holidays from Easter Sunday to the end of October, 2-5pm, and closed between November and Easter. A tea room serves pots of tea and cakes; refreshments are cash only. Group bookings of ten or more can arrange extra hours.
