Brodies Deli

Brodies is a family-run delicatessen at 39 Ayr Street in Troon, paired with Brodies Kitchen for food to eat in and take away. The shelves are given over to cheeses, cured and cooked meats, pâtés, chocolates, biscuits and cakes, along with oils, jams, chutneys, teas, coffees and a spread of soft and alcoholic drinks. The deli builds its own gift hampers to order, mixing Scottish and wider produce, and runs a mail-order side that sends them out across the country. It is an independent single shop rather than a chain outlet, and works as both a counter for local shoppers picking up cheese and provisions and a source of made-up hampers for gifts and celebrations.
