The Harbour Bar looks over Troon's North Bay from Templehill, a family-owned freehouse that has appeared in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide since at least the mid-1970s and has won Pub of the Year from the Ayrshire and Wigtownshire CAMRA branch. As a freehouse it is not tied to any single brewery, and the bar keeps at least two real ales alongside a wide range of malt whiskies, gins and rums, served across a public bar, a separate lounge and a beer garden. There is live music most Saturday nights and a jam night on Wednesdays. Dogs are welcome throughout the bar and garden at all times, and children are welcome until 9pm. The nautical décor and fittings nod to Troon's history as a working harbour town. Open daily, with the beer garden in use through the warmer months.
