Bryn TegCeramics

Bryn Teg Ceramics works from a studio on Lon Capel in Dwyran, opposite the village hall, set up in 2023 by a sculptor who moved to Anglesey from Brighton. She hand-builds pieces using mark-making, sgraffito and oxide techniques, drawing on Welsh folklore, myth and the island's coastline for her figures and animal forms, a body of work she calls the home of the Llanddwyn Guardians. A self-service honesty shop at the studio lets visitors buy finished pieces when she is away at the wheel or the kiln. Workshops can be booked at the studio or brought to another venue, and pieces are also sold through an online shop.
