Cottiers

Theatre, bar and restaurant occupying the former Dowanhill Parish Church, a Gothic Revival building designed by William Leiper and opened in 1866. Cottiers has operated as a venue since 1992, with an auditorium used for touring theatre, comedy and live music, a public bar and a walled beer garden. The interior retains stained glass and painted decoration by the designer Daniel Cottier, after whom the venue is named.
