Feel TheGroove

Feel The Groove is an independent record shop on Causeyside Street, opened in October 2016 by Gavin Simpson, a music-business lecturer, on the site of the long-running Apollo Music. It carries new and secondhand vinyl across rock, soul, indie and electronic music, with racks of used records to dig through and turntable stock and accessories alongside. Simpson set it up with help from Apollo's former owner, keeping a record counter on Paisley's main shopping street after three decades of trade under the previous name. It is a small, single-room shop run day to day by its owner, the sort of place built around browsing and conversation rather than volume. Stock changes as collections come in, so the used bins reward repeat visits, and it remains one of the few dedicated vinyl shops in the town.
