Fourdish opened on Morningside Road in October 2025, the first café run by owner Reshma, who spent years working in restaurants before opening her own. The all-day menu mixes Japanese-influenced dishes, including sushi boxes and poke bowls, with British café staples such as full breakfasts, soup and homemade Basque cheesecake, alongside speciality coffee and fruit tea infusions. The dog-friendly café sits opposite the M&S Foodhall on Morningside Road and serves food from nine in the morning until eight at night. Reshma built the menu around dishes she wanted to eat herself rather than following a single national cuisine, resulting in a card that runs from pancakes to poke in the same sitting. The café had a soft opening on 1 October before an official launch in late November, and takes orders through Deliveroo and Uber Eats as well as walk-ins.
