Henllys Estate is a Grade II listed farmhouse dating to the late sixteenth century, set within thirty acres outside Llandovery that include a fishing lake, ancient woodland and a small flock of free-range sheep. One wing of the stone-walled courtyard has been converted into guest bedrooms, each en suite with views over the Towy valley, while the main house and grounds remain a working smallholding rather than a purpose-built hotel. Breakfast is continental, built around muffins baked on site, and can be adapted for most dietary needs with notice. A single dog-friendly room is available, and the estate also hires out space for small retreats and events beyond its regular bed and breakfast trade. Guests reach the Brecon Beacons National Park within a short drive, though many stay simply to walk the estate's own woodland and lake.
