Hever Castle is a moated thirteenth-century castle at Hever, once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, restored by William Waldorf Astor from 1903 with a new wing and lake built in the same period. Astor's grandson opened the castle and gardens to the public in 1963, and the Guthrie family's Broadland Properties has owned the estate since 1983. The grounds include a yew maze, lake and formal gardens across many acres.
