Koffy

Koffy roasts single-origin arabica coffee from a unit at Flurry Bridge Business Park in Jonesborough, just outside Newry. Master roasters William and Tony founded the business in 2006 as North South Coffee Ltd, sourcing beans from individual farms and estates rather than buying pre-blended stock. Their Roaster's Choice blends run through nutty, fruited and chocolate profiles, and the operation has picked up a Great Taste two-star award along the way. Packaging is deliberately low-impact: recyclable cardboard, paper tape and foil bags rather than plastic. Coffee is sold online and to trade accounts across Northern Ireland rather than from a shopfront, so most customers meet Koffy through a café's counter or a delivered bag rather than a visit to the roastery itself.
