La Gondola has traded from 41 La Porte Precinct in Grangemouth since 1974, making it one of the town's longest-serving food shops. Three generations of the Cumming family have run the business, which has held the Seafish Quality Award for its fish and chips since 1997. Alongside fried fish, the shop sells pizzas, kebabs and a children's menu, and has expanded to include café-style seating for customers eating on the premises as well as sandwiches and lunchtime snacks. The shop fries to order throughout the day and offers a delivery service in the evenings. It remains independently owned and run from the same Grangemouth site the family opened almost fifty years ago. Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 10pm, Sunday 4pm to 10pm; delivery runs 4.30pm to 9.30pm daily.
