A traditional public house at the Cairncastle crossroads between Larne and Glenarm, with origins tracing to the 1800s and its Matties name formalised in 2007. Licensee Martha Davis has run the pub since 2012, serving home-cooked food and pints in rooms that retain the original bar fittings and a former shop counter.
