Ritchie Collins Gallery occupies a shopfront on Henderson Street at the Shore in Leith, opened in 2010 by the Scottish artist whose name it carries. Collins trained in painting and illustration at Glasgow's College of Building and Printing before settling in Edinburgh, and the gallery doubles as his working studio, with visitors able to watch him paint and discuss technique on the shop floor. Alongside Collins's own oils and prints, the space shows work by a rotating group of Edinburgh-based artists across painting, ceramics and jewellery. The gallery offers custom framing, made-to-order commissions and UK and overseas delivery, and stocks greeting cards and small gift items made in Scotland. Prices span from postcard prints to large original canvases, and staff will discuss framing options for any piece on request.
