The ArtisanBakers

Rachel Tyrer and her husband Kerry run this bakery from the Coach House on Castle Gate, baking bread, confectionery, pies, and sandwiches fresh each morning in their own bakehouse. The Clitheroe shop is one of three the family operates, alongside a second shop in Barnoldswick and a stall at Blackburn Market. Everything sold here is made by hand on site rather than shipped in from elsewhere. The shop opens Monday to Saturday from nine until four and closes on Sundays. Their pie and traybake selection changes daily alongside the standard bread bakes on the front counter, and the bakehouse behind the shop supplies all three of the family's outlets.
