The Criterion Blue Town is run entirely by volunteers, combining a heritage centre, music hall and community cinema on Blue Town's high street. Displays of photographs, artefacts and archive material tell the story of Sheerness dockyard and the wider Isle of Sheppey. A Friday Film Club screens classic and family titles at 1pm, alongside school visits and guided talks.
