The EightBells

A family-run, family-orientated pub in the village of Carisbrooke, just outside Newport, and described on its own site as a free house with a family restaurant. The kitchen turns out traditional pub food at what it calls more affordable prices, with dining indoors and outdoors from noon and the kitchen closing at 8pm; Friday and Saturday run to 10pm. Takeaway collection seven days a week, noon to 7pm, by phone or app. Function room available.
