A half-timbered pub dating from the 1500s in the black-and-white village of Eardisland, run by Tim and Lorna Simpson, whose Simpsons Fine Ales are brewed on the premises and served alongside home-cooked pub food, including a regular fish and chips night. The bar looks out over the village green, with a beer garden running down toward the River Arrow.
