Wildling Studio

Wildling Studio is a ceramics workshop run by potter Sarah Glazier-Hart from a barn at Charlcutt, a hamlet close to Calne, set within two acres of meadow, orchard and cutting garden. Sarah hand-throws and hand-builds stoneware inspired by the surrounding countryside and teaches the techniques to others through weekly Clay Club sessions for children from age five, drop-in sessions for adults, and private and school workshops. Classes run in small groups with refreshments provided, aimed at beginners as much as returning students. The studio also runs seasonal, nature-themed workshops and wild-swimming meet-ups connected to the site's grounds, extending its programme beyond pottery alone. Bookings are taken directly through the studio rather than through a marketplace platform, and the working space doubles as the teaching room, so numbers per session are kept deliberately small.
