Wiltshire Ceramic Studio operates from a converted farm building at Stockham Marsh Farm in Foxham, between Chippenham and Calne. Potter Eli is the third person to run the space, taking over after Sarah Purvey and, before her, Milly and Sonny Hardy established the studio as a community clay workshop. The building holds two kilns, two electric wheels, a slab roller and handbuilding tables, supporting everything from drop-in taster sessions to ongoing studio membership for experienced makers. Drop-in classes run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays for beginners through to advanced students, alongside private parties, birthday sessions and seasonal workshops. Eli trained through the Mudfire residency programme in the United States before returning to Wiltshire and building connections with potters including Graham Taylor of Potted History. Visits are by prior arrangement rather than fixed opening hours.
