Beeropolis

Beeropolis occupies the ground floor of a Grade II listed end-terrace building on Burton upon Trent's High Street, on a site that had previously traded as an earlier micropub called Fuggle & Nugget. Ash Ayling and Pete Spittles opened Beeropolis in May 2021, having previously run a similar venue, Bodell's, in nearby Swadlincote. The pub keeps two changing cask ales at a time, sourced from breweries in Burton and further afield, alongside a rotating line-up of keg craft beers. A covered decking area at the rear gives extra seating in fair weather. The pub is closed on Monday and Tuesday, opening from four in the afternoon on Wednesday and Thursday, later into the evening on Friday, and from midday at weekends, closing at seven on Sunday and eleven on Saturday.
