Self-catering apartments on the Soldierstown Road, converted from eighteenth-century farm buildings that were once a working farm, a grocery and a public house on the same ground. The place has stayed in one family for close to three centuries, passing from Kate Clenaghan to Winnifred Clenaghan to Seamus Downing and now to Ivan Downing, who has spent the best part of forty years on the conversion. The painter Sir John Lavery, first cousin to Winnifred Clenaghan, spent formative years here.
