Decktronix

Decktronix is an independent record shop at the rear of Featherstone House on the Chatham Intra stretch of Rochester's High Street. It specialises in vinyl for dance music, with a stock of more than 15,000 twelve-inch singles spanning house, jungle, hardcore, and garage, plus a secondary selection of disco, funk, and electro on vinyl and CD. The shop also repairs turntables and DJ equipment and has a small in-store area used for livestreamed sets and community listening sessions, giving it a role as a gathering point for Medway's dance music scene as well as a retailer. It is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 5pm and closed on Sundays and Mondays. The business operates from this single Rochester premises and trades chiefly through in-person visits and social media rather than a conventional online shop.
