Forge &Foliage

Opened in spring 2021 by Ariel and Marcus at 58 Warrender Park Road, Forge & Foliage is a single-site houseplant and craft shop in Marchmont selling tropical and easy-care plants, pots and homeware alongside craft kits. A hot chocolate bar at the rear of the shop serves drinks while customers browse. The premises later became home to sister venture Hordeum Botanical Studio, which sells dried flower arrangements and a botanical subscription from within the same Warrender Park Road shop rather than a separate address. Marchmont's tenement streets, built for Edinburgh's expanding Victorian middle class, give the shop a steady footfall of local, student and passing customers. Forge & Foliage has no branches beyond this one shop.
