Long Boi's Bakehouse operates from a converted corner shop on a residential street in Levenshulme, baking bread, pastries and cakes since autumn 2020. An all-women team works from a small kitchen, using Wildfarmed flour, milk and eggs from Organic North and R Noone & Son, and other ingredients bought from independent suppliers where possible. The menu changes with the seasons and includes a rotating list of daily specials alongside vegan cakes and savoury bakes. There is room for a handful of customers to sit in with a coffee, though most trade is over the counter for loaves and pastries to take away. Certain lines regularly sell out by early afternoon, and the bakery keeps a waiting list for its bread subscription.
