Caroline Dubois, a sommelier, and Izzy Jenkins, a chef, built Isca from a small café collaboration into Levenshulme's natural wine room — organic, sustainably sourced bottles to drink in or carry out, with a kitchen that thinks in deli plates and a stated allergy to single-use plastic. In 2024 an eighty per cent rent rise forced them out of their original room; the neighbourhood grumbled, the pair moved a few doors up Stockport Road that August, and the business carried on — which is the Levenshulme story in one act. The move is told here because pretending continuity is seamless would be a lie, and this guide doesn't.
