Looe Valley Vineyard was planted in 2008 by Charles Boney and Sue Brownlow on a south-facing slope at Lower Locrenton in the East Looe valley, near St Keyne. The vineyard grows Bacchus, Solaris, Schonburger, Fruhburgunder and Pinot Noir vines across the site, producing still and sparkling white wines sold from the vineyard itself. Between Easter and October the owners run guided tours lasting around two hours, covering pruning and harvesting by hand before a tasting on a covered terrace looking over the vines; outside that season tours are arranged for groups by prior booking. Wine sales continue year-round, with visitors advised to telephone ahead. The vineyard is a single-site, family-run operation with no other vineyard holdings, small enough that Boney and Brownlow lead the tours themselves.
