The farm shop of the Earl of Plymouth's Oakly Park estate — eight thousand acres, most farmed in hand — and honestly described as such: this is a landed estate's flagship rather than a smallholder's counter, established in 2007 at Bromfield with production kitchens behind glass so customers watch more than half the stock being made. The beef, lamb and Gloucester Old Spot pork come off the estate's own ground, around four-fifths of everything else from Shropshire and its neighbours, and the site has grown a café, a takeaway pantry, a gift shop, a small distillery and a gallery around the shop. In April 2026 the Farm Shop & Deli Awards named it the UK's large farm shop of the year.
