Manor Farm Butchers has traded from the same farm shop on Burcombe Lane, a few miles west of Salisbury toward Wilton, since the 1980s, with the current owners taking over the business in 2013. The counter sells beef, lamb and pork sourced from local farms alongside free-range chicken, and makes its own sausages, burgers, pies and quiches on site rather than buying them in. A food hygiene inspection in September 2025 rated the shop's food handling, premises and management all as good, the top rating available. Customers travel from Salisbury, Wilton and the surrounding Nadder valley villages for cuts butchered to order and for the shop's own pies, a mainstay for locals stocking up before weekends. The farm setting keeps the shop close to its supply chain, with meat coming from the surrounding countryside rather than a central depot.
