Milton Keynes CityDiscovery Centre

Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre occupies Bradwell Abbey on Alston Drive: the site and remains of a medieval Benedictine priory, with a rare standing pilgrimage chapel carrying contemporary wall paintings. The charity works with Milton Keynes Council to maintain the site, runs history and geography programmes for schools from Pre-history to WWII, and keeps an archive of books, maps, reports, posters and plans recording the new city's development. Weddings are held in the Stone Barn and the 700-year-old Cruck Barn.
