Ocean Fish Bar& Restaurant

Ocean Fish Bar & Restaurant is a fish and chip restaurant and takeaway on St Peters Avenue in Cleethorpes, close to the seafront. The family-run business has traded from the same premises for more than seventeen years, serving haddock and cod fried to order alongside homemade pies, battered sausages and mushy peas. The dining room seats up to 130 people and holds a licence to serve alcohol with meals, an addition that sets it apart from most chip shops on the street. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are cooked on request, and a click-and-collect service lets customers order ahead for a fifteen-minute turnaround. The kitchen holds the maximum five-star food hygiene rating from North East Lincolnshire Council, and full disabled access is provided throughout the building. The shop opens Monday to Saturday from 11:30am to 7pm and is closed on Sundays. It remains one of the longer-standing independent chip shops on the Cleethorpes seafront strip, still run day to day by the family that opened it.
