Penybont Forge

Penybont Forge has worked as a blacksmith's shop at Ithon View, Penybont, near Llandrindod Wells for around two hundred years, making it one of the longest-running forges on the Wales-England border. The current smith hand-forges ferrous and non-ferrous metal into gates, brackets, tools and fittings, and takes on restoration and repair work for historic ironwork and architectural pieces. Commissions are made to order rather than sold as stock items.
