Rutland Water Cruises has run scenic trips on the reservoir from Whitwell Harbour since 1986. The vessel Rutland Belle sails to Normanton and back with commentary on the wildlife and history around the shore, including sightings of ospreys during summer months. Onboard refreshments are available, and private charters can be arranged for groups.
